Outcome: support the organization of meetings aiming to bring forward HTA studies and develop new methods and tools specifically conceived for the HTA of medical devices, medical locations and eHealth. Support the preparation of guidelines on HTA considering BMEs and Clinical Engineering prospective (e.g. HTM). In future, IFMBE HTA reports on emerging technologies of strategic interest could be produced too.
Benefit: reinforce the community of BMEs working on HTA with tools and best practices in conducting HTA. This reinforcement  will foster the diffusion of biomedical innovations in healthcare practice.
Team: HTAD Board and consulted experts on specific HTA tools
Deliverables: Face to face expert meetings on new HTA methods and tools for BMEs and CEs, best practice guidelines to be published in peer-reviewed journals, and iFMBE positioning papers .
