Rossana Rivas Tarazona is MSc Management of Social & Health Organizations at Jean Moulin-Lyon III University, in Lyon, France; PhD Candidate, Mines ParisTech, Ecole des Mines de Paris, in Paris, France; International Consultant in Biomedical Eng., Clinical Eng., Health Technology Planning & Management and Health Technology Assessment. During the last 15 years she’s been interacting with Ministries of Health and other organizations from LATAM and the Caribbean region as others: USAID, the Rockefeller Foundation, Embassy of France, Embassy of Canada, UNESCO, etc. She’s Senior Advisor at World Health Organization-WHO Collaborating Center for Health Technology Management, USA. She is also Member of Health Technology Assessment Network of the Americas-RedETSA at Panamerican Health Organization-PAHO, Washington. Rossana is professor in On Line courses: Health Technology Planning & Management: 2015-2019, followed by 1,000+ participants from Ministries of Health in 39 countries, organized by PAHO Virtual Campus. She’s Clinical Engineering Head at PUCP-UPCH Univ. Biomedical Engineering since 2018. She’s member of the Health Technology Committee at the Peruvian College of Engineers in Lima, Peru. The American College of Clinical Eng. gave to Rossana the ACCE-ORBIS 2010 International Award.
